A MAN died more than three months after he fell and hit his head.
On August 26 last year Cecil Rowe Box of Devereux Close in Tupsley, Hereford fell backwards and hit his head on a windowsill.
The 89-year-old did not lose consciousness but was taken to Hereford County Hospital.
His prognosis was poor and he returned home on November 17 for palliative care and died on December 3.
Coroner Mark Bricknell said he died from a subdural haematoma and recorded an accidental death.
