A HEREFORD man's death was not linked to asbestos, an inquest found.
Brian Goodridge of Skenfrith Walk, Newton Farm died on January 18, aged 82.
Before his death it was thought he had pulmonary fibrosis which could be related to his work as a metal work welder.
But a post mortem revealed no asbestos in his body and the cause of death was congestive cardiac failure which was caused by ischaemic heart disease and pulmonary fibrosis.
At Herefordshire Coroner's Court coroner Mark Bricknell recorded Mr Goodridge died from natural causes.
