THIEVES made off with equipment worth £20,000 after breaking into a construction site in Hereford.
Amey contractors working in Broomy Hill say intruders cut through a padlock at 1.50am on Monday to take the goods which included a 1.5 tonne excavator trailer which was carrying a hydraulic breaker.
The trailer was then hooked up to a 4x4 before leaving the site.
