TWO staff at Ludlow accountants, Dyke Ruscoe and Hayes Ltd, have qualified at the same time in the profession's ACCA finals exams.
Brydie Prime and Lucy Elvins have worked at the firm since leaving school and by studying in their evenings and weekends, have succeeded in making it to the very top of their professional body.
The firm now has five qualified ACCA members – to add to its two ACCA finalists plus staff with the ICAEW, AAT and ATT qualifications.
“We’re thrilled at what Brydie and Lucy have achieved,” said Jackie Cole, chairman of the firm.
“Never in the firm’s history have two people managed to make it to the top at the same time.
“Their success is well-deserved: they have worked extremely hard to get to this level and we’re very proud of what they have achieved.”
