STAFF and residents including a 102-year-old Miffy Hewitt at celebrated the arrival of spring by feeding lambs at a Ludlow care Home.
Hagley Place enjoyed a brilliant time with the two month old lambs brought in by Mary Francis, with residents bottle feeding the lambs and petting them as well. The lambs even visited residents in their rooms.
One resident living with advanced dementia began reminiscing about the farm she used to work at and began talking about her memories of lambing and bottle feeding the lambs.
“As always, we enjoy having animals come to visit our residents, having spring lambs was a treat and the residents have really enjoyed them,” said Shann Thomas, General Manager at Hagley Place.
