PEOPLE can jump in the ring with members of Priory Park Boxing Club during a 12-hour sparathon.

The boxing marathon will take place between 7am and 7pm in Priory Park on Saturday, August 26.

He said: “People can come down and see what we are all about and if they want to get in the ring, they can!”

Coaches will also be hosting series of challenges in a separate ring throughout the day, with prizes up for grabs.

The sparathon will form part of the Unity Brings Community fun day, which will from 12noon to 4pm.

Hosted by Churches and Community Together, the free event will have a bouncy castles and rides to keep youngsters occupied, barbecue food and a variety of live entertainment.
