FIREFIGHTERS suspect arson may have been responsible for two small fires in St Peter's alight within hours of each other.
A fire crew from Worcester was called to a small fire in the children's play area near to St Peter's Baptist Church, Eden Close, at just after 8pm last night (Sunday).
Fortunately, the fire was out prior to their arrival and is not thought to have caused any damage.
Firefighters were then called out two hours later to a bin fire close to the pharmacy just off Eden Close, Worcester.
They used a hose reel to extinguish the flames and called West Mercia Police.
A police spokeswoman confirmed they had attended the scene.
