POLICE are investigating a bloody brawl at Worcester Crematorium in which a man is understood to have been injured after a service.
Worcester Crematorium staff called the police on Tuesday afternoon after the fight, which is understood to have involved three men.
The Worcester News has learned the brawl took place outside the Tintern Avenue venue, and involved three men, with one suffering a cut to the head.
A West Mercia Police spokesman said: "Police received a report of an altercation at Worcester Crematorium shortly after 2.20pm yesterday.
"The men involved are reported to have left by car before police and ambulance services could attend and enquiries are currently ongoing."
A spokesman for Worcester City Council, which manages the crematorium, confirmed there was an incident, and police were called.
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101, quoting incident number 335s of December 12.
