CHURCHILL Retirement Living is inviting people in Pershore to join them for coffee and cake at its Nightingale Lodge development to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

The event, which is part of the charity’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning campaign, takes place on Thursday September 28 from 11am at the development on Defford Road.

This is the eighth year the retirement developer has taken part in World’s Biggest Coffee morning, which last year raised over £30,000.

Tracy Evans, marketing executive for Churchill Retirement Living said: “We are delighted to once again be involved in Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.

"The events are not only a fantastic way to raise money for a very worthy cause but also an opportunity to get the local community together.

"We have set an ambitious fundraising target of £35,000 for Macmillan this year and we hope people in Pershore will join us at Nightingale Lodge to help us raise lots of money to support the great work the charity does."
