THE countdown to panto time has started at Pershore’s Number 8 where Pershore Operatic and Dramatic Society will present the tale of “Jack and the Beanstalk”, from Monday December 4 to Saturday December 9.
A festive, family treat awaits under the watchful eyes of director Paul Turvey (Director) and musical director Andrew Hemming.
Mr Turvey said: "As well as the hilarious slapstick and spectacular costumes of traditional panto, we’re aiming for a production bursting with energy and dance."
Mr Hemming added: "Accompanied by a full live band, our soloists and chorus look forward to singing some super numbers, including from some very popular modern artists and musicals.”
Discover whether Jack outwits the Giant to save his sweetheart princess and family fortunes with evening performances at 7.30 p.m. and an additional Saturday matinee at 2.30 p.m.
Tickets can be bought from Number 8 box office on 01386 555488 or visit www. Number 8.org
