A PERSHORE business has raised £247.80 for Against Breast Cancer.
Hayloft Plants, raised money in several ways including their pretty in pink day where staff members were encouraged to dress or accessorise with something pink whilst paying a £1 to do so.
A raffle and a bake-off were also amongst the fundraising activities for the business who are also collecting unwanted bras.
These are recycled and sent through a network of bra banks that raise funds for pioneering breast cancer research, with some being sent to developing countries such as Togo, Ghana and Kenya, where bras remain too expensive to produce locally.
If anyone has any unloved bras send them to Hayloft Plants Ltd, FREEPOST RTGR-JAGJ-JETG, Pensham, Pershore, Worcestershire, WR10 3HB.
The business will conduct a final bra count at the end of December.
