TWO new classrooms have been added to Holy Redeemer Catholic Primary School in Pershore.
The extra space allows greater flow and collaboration between the children attending Hopscotch Pre-school and pupils at the school, who can all benefit from the outside, eco-garden.
Headteacher Christina Hall said: “We were lucky enough to be allocated some Place Planning money to fund one of the classrooms and we managed to build our pre-school community room with the help of grants from Severn Waste Fund, Baron Davenport, The Big Lottery and The Rowntree Foundation. We are very grateful to all those organisations for their support.”
Guests to the official opening included, the mayor of Pershore Bob Gillmor and his consort Sue Chandler, Cllr Liz Tucker, and funding advisor Nicky Dupays.
HopScotch PreSchool also enjoyed an open-morning, allowing prospective parents the opportunity to pop in to view the new facilities.
