KIDDERMINSTER Library will be offering computer courses this Autumn for both beginners and improvers.

Computers for Beginners is a course for those who have very basic knowledge of using a computer and are looking to build skills in word processing, internet and email, and saving and printing files.

The course will run weekly on a Monday, between September 18, and October 16, with sessions taking place between 11.30am and 1.30pm.

Computers for Improvers is aimed at improving computer skills in a small learning group. It is ideal for those looking to hone their basic computing skills by discovering more about the power of word processing, internet and email communication, while developing additional skills for employment.

The course will run daily from September 18, until October 16, with sessions taking place between 9.30am and 11.30am.

Juliette Matczak, library customer advisor, said: "The world of IT can sometimes be a daunting one for beginners or those without much experience, which is why we are delighted that these courses will offer a helping hand.

"If you are a beginner to computing, or are looking to hone your skills, all are welcome to come along and learn together."

Both courses will take place at Kidderminster Library and are suitable for anyone aged 19 and over. Places cost £45 - though concessions are available for those on JSA, ESA or tax credits.
