A WOMAN was airlifted to hospital with multiple serious injuries after she was hit by a car in Kidderminster on Wednesday evening.
West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) was called to a report of a collision between a car and a pedestrian outside Sainsbury's, in Carpet Trades Way, shortly before 6pm on Wednesday (September 13).
West Mercia Police was also in attendance.
A spokesman from WMAS said: "A woman in her 60s was treated on the scene for multiple serious injuries, before being airlifted to Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
"The Midlands Air Ambulance, from Strensham, and an ambulance attended the scene."
A spokesman from West Mercia Police added: "The road was initially closed, but reopened shortly afterwards."
