POLICE officers are thanking members of their public for their help after a serial offender was jailed for a number of incidents in Kidderminster.

Carrie McLeod Finch, of no fixed address, was sentenced to two years and four months in jail at Worcester Crown Court on September 11.

The 31-year-old was jailed for a number of incidents in Kidderminster including theft from a motor vehicle, two counts of interference with a motor vehicle, burglary and breach of a suspended sentence order.

A spokesman for West Mercia Police said: "We believe that this sentencing and result would not have been possible without the help and support of local communities."
