TV personality Debbie Bulford will be in Kidderminster over this weekend (23 and 24 Sept) for a unique public event, celebrating crafting skills with polymer clay.

The event, at the Simply Limitless Centre on Puxton Lane, will offer fun have-a-go workshops for visitors throughout the weekend, with no previous experience required.

The TV crafting expert will be joined by other demonstrators, including best-selling craft author Carol Blackburn and Allan Marshall, who specialises in miniature dolls’ house food made from polymer clay.

It is being run by the British Polymer Clay Guild, to celebrate its 20th birthday.

Kidderminster enthusiast Lisa Walker runs classes locally in polymer clay skills, said: “It’s so exciting to have these two days of celebration here in Kidderminster.

“Polymer clay is one of the most exciting materials to work with, and there’ll be lots of opportunities to have a go and to buy materials and jewellery.

“And it’s great to have it at the Simply Limitless centre, because what you can do with polymer clay is simply limitless!”

The event runs from 10-4 on Saturday and Sunday at the centre on Puxton Lane, behind Crossley Retail Park. Parking is available, and on Saturday the on-site café will be open.

Entry costs £3, or £2.50 when booked at www.bpcg.org.uk/bpcg20. Children under 16 are free if accompanied by a paying adult.
