TWO men were threatened in an aggravated burglary at a property in Kidderminster last night (November 23).

At around 8pm, it is reported three men knocked on the door of a house in Wilton Avenue, in Kidderminster.

One of the occupants answered the door and the men tried to enter the property. An altercation then took place and the occupants - two men in their 30s - were threatened.

During the altercation, one of the victims had his glasses taken and the other sustained an injury to his head. He did not require medical treatment.

The suspects then left the property.

They are described as three men. One of them was white, around 6ft tall, of a medium build, wearing a grey cap with a black scarf wrapped around his face and possibly gloves. The second suspect is believed to be white, around 6ft, of a medium build, wearing a cap with a scarf around his face and the third suspect was described as a similar build and heigh, wearing a cap and scarf.

Detective Constable Mark Fletcher said: "Investigations are now ongoing to identify those responsible, and we would like to hear from anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area or who witnessed the offence."

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call West Mercia Police on 101, quoting incident reference number 732S of November 23.
