THE festive season begins tomorrow as the city’s Christmas lights are switched on.
The lights will be turned on by Pudsey bear at 6pm along with mayor of Worcester, Cllr Steve Mackay and Worcester’s Carnival Queen and Princess.
Hosted by BBC Hereford and Worcester's Elliott Webb and Malcolm Boyden, the event begins at 4pm with performances by Josh Hopkins, Tazmin Barnes, Chloe Elliot, Kim and Mike Skillbeck.
Worcester Concert Brass and Worcester Male Voice Choir will perform after the switch on.
Late night shopping also begins in the city with many shops staying open until 8pm every Thursday until Christmas.
