RESIDENTS are being invited to a fast-moving performance of the classic Nine To Five at Redditch's Palace Theatre next month.
The hit musical comedy, produced by Alcester Musical Theatre Company, runs at the theatre from October 4 to 7.
Nine To Five, is based on the 1979 film, with music and lyrics by Dolly Parton, and was originally produced on Broadway in 2009.
It stars Judy, a recently divorced housewife who lands a secretarial job, Violet, the beleaguered office supervisor who shows Judy the ropes on her disastrous first day and Doralee, a secretary whom everyone at the office thinks is using her assets to get ahead by sleeping with the boss.
These three soon become best friends and team up after they get fed up with their chauvinistic and smarmy boss.
A spokesman said: "Come and share their adventure and see Alcester Musical Theatre Company perform this fast-moving and highly entertaining comedy musical show."
