A MIDLANDS DJ, bar and nightclub operator is confident he can transform Redditch town centre's severely lacking nightlife.

Adam Presdee recently opened the Saints venue on Alcester Street in the town.

“Redditch’s nightlife needs revitalising, it has always been a growing town but its nightlife does not reflect that," he said.

"We already have a great nightclub in the town but no real alternative to it, and as we all know the pub and bar occupancy has been shrinking.”

The late-night bar focuses on drinking, dancing, and socialising, and even prides itself as the “home of the jam jar cocktail” hoping to start a craze in the town for mixed drinks served in jam pots.

Open Thursday to Saturday from 7pm to as late as 4am, the bar is described as open, classy, and with a vibrant atmosphere.

Mr Presdee (below left) is a director of the Bar Red businesses in Nuneaton and Redditch which trade under the Saints banner.
