POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a woman was racially assaulted in Worcester.
The racially aggravated assault happened next to Harrington Court, in Lowesmoor, on Thursday, August 21, at around 1.40pm.
The victim was walking with her young son when two women leaned out of a building window nearby. They began shouting verbal abuse at the victim and then threw a glass of water at her. Nobody was injured.
The investigating officer, PC Matt Digger, said: "This is a hate crime which is being taken very seriously. I am eager to hear from anyone who witnessed this racially aggravated assault - please get in touch to help tackle this unacceptable crime."
