THE University of Worcester has been named the 10th best in the West Midlands.

It came out in the top ten in The Times and The Sunday Times University of the Year awards and the Good University Guide 2015, produced by the newspapers.

Overall, however, it dropped from 102nd in last year's guide to 107th this time round, with student satisfaction ranked at 79.3 percent.

Future job prospects for students saw 60.7 percent in professional jobs or post-graduate level study and the university spend £984 on facilities per student.

Topping the region was the University of Warwick, which was ranked eighth nationwide, and saw a spend of £2,314 on facilities per student.
