A CYCLIST is preparing to set off with his 100-strong team on an fundraising ride from Worcester to Aberdovey in Wales.
Toby Fellows, a surveyor, organised the 100 mile cycle event in aid of St Richard's Hospice.
Cyclists will leave from the King's School in Worcester on June 6, with the ride taking anywhere between four-and-a-half hours to seven hours to complete.
Mr Fellows, who lives in Birmingham, said: "I wanted to challenge people that would not usually do something like this, and push people's boundaries. I hope participants will feel a great sense of achievement which is one of the best feelings in the world.
"We have an anticipated total of about £20,000 in sight."
Mr Fellows thanked local businesses who have offered sponsorship, including Rob Giles Groundworks, GJS Dillon Commercial Property Consultants, Erodex, Thursfield Solicitors, Fisher German Estate Agents, A and H construction and HomeKitchen.
