DOGGY chic is all the rage for an animal trust in Worcester.

Actress and model Jo-Emma Larvin has launched a charity’s search for a budding young designer to create the ultimate in doggy couture.

The Retired Greyhound Trust in Worcester is asking children to get their crayons at the ready to create imaginative designs for its annual Ultimate Dog Coat colouring competition.

The winning design will be made into a real dog coat and paraded at the trust’s annual show – the Great Greyhound Gathering – at Nottingham Racecourse on September 18.

Professional dog coat designer Laura Bailey from national doggy design house Petite Pooch will be one of the judging panel and will transform the design into a coat.

The competition will be open to two age groups – six and under and seven to 11. There will be 11 regional winners from which the overall national winner will be selected. The closing date for entries will be Friday, July 30.

Entry forms can be downloaded from the Retired Greyhound website at retiredgreyhounds.co.uk or call 0844 8268424 for further information.
