A motorcyclist who was seriously injured in a road traffic collision in Herefordshire last month has died from his injuries.
He was involved in a crash at 12.10pm on Sunday, May 29, on the A4103 Hereford Road, outside The New Inn pub near Storridge.
It involved a Volkswagen Golf driven by a 90-year-old man and the motorcyclist was on a Honda CB900 Hornet.
It appears that the Golf was travelling towards Hereford on the A4103 and the motorbike was travelling in the opposite direction. The car turned right into The New Inn across the path of the bike.
The rider – a 39-year-old man from the Fromes Hill area – was taken to the QE Hospital in Birmingham in a critical condition, but he died of his injuries on Sunday.
PC Karl Lacey, investigating, said: “Sadly, the motorcyclist lost his life a week after the crash, so this is now being treated as a road death investigation.
“I would like to appeal to anyone who witnessed the incident or has other information for police should contact me at Malvern Police Station on 0300 333 3000.”
