Officers have detained the man on suspicion of commiting several offences
A MAN brandishing a knife on a city estate has been tackled by police today.
The man, in his 20s and from Worcester, was spotted in Cranham Drive in Warndon with a knife at about 3pm.
When police approached the man he dropped the knife and a scuffle ensued.
He was arrested at the scene on suspicion of assualting a police officer, committing grevious bodily harm against a community support officer, affray and possession of an offensive weapon.
He is currently in custody at the Castle Street city police station.
