<<p> THE family of a Worcester woman, who was murdered in her own home, have paid tribute to her.

Speaking today - on what would have been her 49th birthday, Jackie Harrison's daughters said they would be thinking of their mum, who was found dead at her flat in Gresham Road, Dines Green, Worcester on Thursday, April 12.

Zoe, who is aged 26 and lives in Evesham, and Danielle, who now lives in Walsall and is 23-years-old, had a message for their mother. They said: “Believe us when we say you’ve never been forgotten and will always be loved.”

Ms Harrison, who was originally from Pershore, also had two sons, who are not being named. She led a chaotic lifestyle struggling with alcohol dependency meaning she had not seen her family for a number of years.

Her daughters added: “Throughout our lives we’ve craved your love and support, but now you’re safe with the angels above.

“Although you had your demons, you aren’t to feel guilty and never to feel worthless. There are many people past and present who care for you and now wish you peace.

“Happy birthday Mum. Sweet dreams. All our love, your daughters.”

The funeral for Ms Harrison will take place at 1.30pm on Thursday, July 12, at Worcester Crematorium.

There will be family flowers only, with any donations to Maggs Day Centre.

• William Joseph Cummins of no fixed abode was charged with murdering Jackie Harrison in April. He has been remanded into custody and is due to face trial later this year.
