A FORMER pupil of King's School, Worcester, will take time out from his rugby career to return to the school and open its Bank Holiday fete next week.
Luke Narraway, of Gloucester Rugby Club and England, played for England as back row forward in the Six Nations this season.
He will open the fete at noon on Monday, May 5.
The biennial King's School Fete will have local produce and cake stalls, a giant slide, the chance to win a car, second-hand books, DVDs and computer games stalls and a tombola.
The fete, held in the grounds of the King's School and Worcester Cathedral, will close at 4pm.
The event will raise money for local good causes including the County Air Ambulance, the Worcester Breast Unit Appeal and Kaleidoscope, a respite service for young children with severe special needs, as well as school projects.
Headmaster Tim Keyes, said: "We are delighted to welcome Luke back to
King's. It was a proud moment for the entire school when Luke played for his country this year."
