WORCESTER-based Pan-ton Sargent has joined Birmingham firm Mansfield Ravenhall to create One, a collaborative design practice that will pave a new direction in design solutions for better buildings.

With a new simple philosophy based on the concept of total co-operation, architects, surveyors, engineers, interior designers and technicians have come together to work even more closely with clients.

This new venture has created 12 new jobs within the company making a total workforce of 50. This en-hances One's overall business coverage within the region. Pooling expertise, skills and resources, One aims to visualise the bigger picture and consider detail, such as landscape - inside and out - colour and construction as one. Matt Tebbatt, director at One explained: "As one comp-any, one team we have a shared ambition to deliver outstanding service to our clients across the whole spectrum of the design and build process. One's primary objective is to give our clients what they want without the ifs and buts'.

"We design buildings that reflect our clients' visions and demands, by carving a clear route through understanding the common objective shared." One outgrew its previous premises due to the company's need to recruit more talented people to fill the gaps created through continual growth. Now based in The Triangle in Wildwood Drive, Wor-cester, the company's innovative working space has been internally designed by its employees, creating an environment that reflects the firm's core principles.

Mr Tebbatt added: "One is a people business, which prospers by getting the most out of its own staff and clients."
