WORCESTER-based Namesco, the country's leading internet service provider, has won best shared hosting provider in the UK at the national Internet Service Providers' Association awards.

The company beat off stiff competition at the event held in the Marriott Hotel in Grosvenor Square, London.

"They were also pleased to see that the customer support was available seven days a week."

This is yet another award in the Namesco trophy cabinet after being voted number one provider by users of Web Host Directory UK in Shared Hosting, Windows Hosting, Unix Hosting and Ecommerce Hosting categories.

These are exciting times for the company from Perdiswell Park, which is currently ranked the fourth largest provider in the UK of domain names and hosting services and among the top 50 worldwide.

Namesco employs over 70 highly qualified professionals and manages over 330,000 domain names.

Kevin Savage, Namesco's managing director said: "Ongoing investment in our clustered Shared Hosting technology has driven strong results for us as a business and for our customers alike, ensuring we all have the most reliable web site hosting in the UK."
