MORE than 100 members of Worcester's business community joined estate agent Andrew Grant to celebrate the official re-opening of his headquarters in the city's Foregate Street.
The occasion also marked Mr Grant's 37 years in business, which have seen his firm grow to become the largest independent estate agency in the area, with nine residential offices across Worcestershire and Herefordshire and a London office in Pall Mall. The re-opening ceremony was performed by Robin Walker, Conservative parliamentary candidate for Worcester.
The listed building has been the subject of a £100,000 refurbishment programme that saw it closed for business for six weeks earlier this year while staff relocated to other Andrew Grant offices in the city.
"It was logistically challenging to keep the operation running smoothly," said executive officer David Stuart-Smith, "but we managed it and I think everyone will be impressed by the final result."
