Rugby stars of the future get their kit sponsorship

POTENTIAL rugby stars of tomorrow toured the West Country in a specially-designed strip sponsored by Worcester solicitors MFG.

Fifty youngsters from Worcester RFC mini rugby teams, who play at under seven and under eight levels, played matches in Weston-super-Mare and Exeter.

Tour co-ordinator Jon Dear said: "We'd like to thank MFG Solicitors for most of the shirt sponsorship.

"Tag rugby at this age group is all about introducing small children to the concept of team play, group discipline and the excitement of a fast ball game."

Twenty-five players from each age group, accompanied by coaches and parents, travelled to Weston-super-Mare, where they played a club fixture against Weston Hornets.

The tour party then stayed overnight in Exeter before playing in a triangular tournament with Exeter and Exmouth the following day.

MFG Solicitors partner Iain Morrison said: "We like to support activities which involve encouraging young people."
