Is your breakfast a quick slice of toast on the way out of the door?
Or maybe a cereal bar while you wait for the bus?
Well, why not make an extra effort this week, with a traditional farmhouse breakfast, using only the best ingredients from your local farmers' market.
Tomorrow sees the start of Farmhouse Breakfast Week, an annual campaign that emphasises the importance of eating a healthy breakfast every day.
This year's theme is A Great Start', and organisers are encouraging everyone to wake up to a balanced breakfast as part of a healthy and active lifestyle.
Nutritionists agree that a healthy breakfast is essential for starting the day. With a little planning - and some fantastic farmers' market ingredients - it is possible to enjoy a filling, nutritious breakfast, without having to set your alarm two hours early.
