EMERGENCY services are currently attending a road accident in Worcestershire.
A HGV and car ploughed through a hedge and into a field along the A456 Hallow to Tenbury Road, near Holt Heath, at 9am this morning. The accident has left a large oil spill on the road surface which is causing tailbacks.
All emergency services - including the county air ambulance - attended the scene. While no-one was injured ambulance crews remain and police are on site slowing traffic. The road is not closed.
A spokeswoman for the police said: "The oil spill is quite large and dangerous for vehciles, especially motorbikes.
"The road is not blocked but officers are on the scene making sure traffic is slow and motorists are safe."
It is understood that the Highways Agency is to grit the road between Holt Heath to Tenbury.
