Noise of the plane penetrates house
SIR - There is a plane that constantly drones around overhead? Some days it is very loud and others it is less noisy but still there and noticeable.
It makes a circuit of Worcester about every 15-20 minutes and has that old wartime tone to its engines. It usually starts at about 10am and goes on all day until about 4pm.
We notice it to the degree that the noise penetrates our house in spite of the double glazing.
In the garden it is particularly bad and is raising the noise contamination.
The drone note is one that typically seems to pass through any structure.
We hear it when we are in Worcester, in Reindeer Court having a cup of coffee or when out walking in the shopping areas.
