Letters
If you didn’t vote, don’t whinge later
SIR - I would like to say a big thank you to a number of people. To Mr Young's team at the Guildhall: Dian, Emma etc; to the gang with the leaflets - Mr R Spencer, Mr R Chamings, Mr T Eaves, Mr P Quick.
A special thanks to those of you who voted for
UKIP in St Clements
ward. I would like to think that, like us, you are waking up to the Lib/Lab/Con trick. To the rest of you who voted, at least you used your democratic right to vote.
My guess is that if things go the way they are, in time we will only be voting for regional assembles and MEPs.
The I couldn't care less party' and the I don't vote party', should next time remember that many people gave up their lives so you could vote. So, if something that concerns you happens either around your area or even to you or your property don't whinge.
Thanks also to the contestants, none of whom resorted to childish ya boo playground politics, and to you, Mr Editor, for a very fair coverage of events.
JC Butterfield,
Treasurer, Worcester and district UKIP.
