A BEXLEY charity is offering residents the opportunity to step back in time to Tudor times.
Bexley Heritage Trust is holding a Tudor weekend so local people can experience the sights, sounds and smells of Henry VIII and Elizabeth I.
The weekend event runs on September 1 and 2 at Hall Place, in Bourne Road, Bexley.
On September 1 you can meet a Tudor physician and discover the truth about terrible Tudor diseases or have a look at the Tudor kitchen.
Budding Lord and Lady Howards can go one step further and become Tudors for an evening.
From 7pm, the trust is holding its first ever Tudor banquet in the Great Hall.
Taste the delights of a Tudor feast in a 24-dish feast.
Tickets for the culinery extravaganza cost £20 and are available in the Hall Place shop.
