TRAINS have been cancelled from Worcester Shrub Hill due to a signal failure this morning.

Passengers are facing delays of up to an hour and trains are being diverted around Worcester Shrub Hill.

The London Midland 5.56am Worcester to Hereford service, 6.12am Worcester to Stratford and 6.47am Great Malvern to Birmingham New Street service was running 15 minutes late after a signal failure at the end of Worcester Shrub Hill Station.

Services from Worcester Shrub Hill to Whitlocks End or Storridge started from Droitwich.

There is also disruption on First Great Western between Worcester Shrub Hill and Oxford and between Great Malvern and Gloucester due to signalling problem at Worcester Shrub Hill.

Tickets being accepted on Arriva Trains Wales, London Midland, Virgin Trains and local bus services.

Trains may be delayed by up to an hour, and some services have been partially cancelled and will not call at Worcester Shrub Hill.

Network Rail are on site and working on the signalling problems.
