AROUND seven police cars were called to assist with a chase through St John's in Worcester this morning.
Police were called to reports of a stolen car in the area, and they chased the suspects along Bromyard Road on foot before calling for back up when the suspects tried to flee.
Three people have been arrested in connection with the incident.
A police spokesman said: "Officers became suspicious of a vehicle on Bromyard Road at around 9.05am. The vehicle, a Ford Fiesta, is believed to have been stolen from Kidderminster. Police pulled the vehicle over and after a short pursuit on foot, three teenage boys were arrested. A 17-year-old from Kidderminster, a 16-year-old from Kidderminster and an 18-year-old from Kidderminster were arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle."
