A TEENAGER got in the fundraising saddle when she and her friends and family pedalled for six hours for charity.
Ellie Cavilla, of Garden Styles, Pershore, arranged the cycle challenge to take place at David Lloyd fitness club in Worcester on Friday.
The 18-year-old was joined by friends, family and some gym members as they took it in turns to continually cycle from 11am until 5pm.
Miss Cavilla, who goes to Pershore High School, was raising money towards a trip she will be taking to Ecuador to work as a volunteer.
She said: "It went really well on the day. I raised £239 and I was only expecting about £150. We went for six hours but we didn't keep track of how far we cycled.
"Different people came up and helped me cycle so it was a team effort. The members at David Lloyd were really supportive, they cheered us on.
"It's to raise money for my trio with Outreach International. They are a project based charity that has placements all over the world. I am going to work there for four months. Two will be spent in an orphanage and two months with disabled people. I am going in January.
"I've always wanted to travel and see other communities and also help other communities."
