A TEENAGE girl was pushed into a thorn bush and punched repeatedly in a prolonged attack in Redditch.
The victim, who is in her late teens, was walking from Batchley to Old Forge Drive between Saturday, April 19, with a man between 6pm and 9pm on Sunday, April 19.
It is believed the man pushed the girl into a thorn bush, pulled at her clothing as she tried to walk away and then pinned her against a fence near Old Forge Drive and punched her repeatedly to her face, arms and body. He only stopped when he saw a car pull into a nearby car park.
A 24-year-old man from the town has been arrested and has been released on bail until Wednesday, June 3 pending further enquiries.
