Police warn people to listen out for cold-callers selling 'fine art'
PEOPLE are warned to be on the alert for scammers trying to get people to invest in 'fine art'.
Police across the country have received calls from people who have had cold-callers trying to get them to invest in fine art, or other schemes to make people part with their money.
West Mercia Police have released tips on how people can avoid becoming a victim.
These include hanging up on such calls, as legitimate companies will not call up and offer an investment out of the blue, and not giving out personal information to callers.
