TRAFFIC on the M5 southbound near Worcester suffered delays early this morning after a collision involving a lorry and two cars.

The incident happened between Junction 7 with the A44 and Junction 8 with the M50.

At it worst, the congestion stretched back as far as Junction 5 at Wychbold, but lanes were all reopened at 7.40am

West Midland Ambulance Service reported that there were no serious injuries. Fire crews from Worcester and Upton attended the scene.
