Rogue traders con Stourport resident out of £400
A RESIDENT in Bewdley Road, Stourport, was conned out of £400 when men knocked on their door, claiming their chimney had been struck by lightning and offering to repair their guttering.
The resident gave the men £400 cash to buy materials but never returned to carry out the work. It is not clear when the men initially visited the house, but it was reported to police on Saturday, August 29.
