A MAN was taken to hospital following a crash at the Norton island, Worcester this morning.
The incident happened at the island, where St Peter's Drive meets the A440 Southern Link road.
The crash involved a silver Mercedes SLK and a silver Honda Superdream motorcycle.
A man in his 50s was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital, but a West Mercia Police spokesperson said his injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
Two crews from Worcester Fire Station attended the incident at around 7am, and made the scene safe.
Motorists were delayed in the area, due to the incident.
The fire service later handed the incident over to West Mercia Police officers - who closed St Peter's Drive, between the Broomhall Way junction and the Alton Road junction, for a short period during a clear up operation.
