AN UPBEAT song from a 00s band has been named as Worcester's musical guilty pleasure.

Reach by S Club 7 has come top of a poll by music sharing and discovery app, Muzeit.

Perhaps it is the chirpy, optimistic message or catchy chorus but it came out on top as the song people in the city liked but didn't want to admit to.

The top guilty pleasure for the UK is Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart according to the survey of 2,000 people.

Ayman Jomaa, CEO of Muzeit, said: “The music that we listen to sets the beat to our lives, with what we hear shaping the way we feel and how we interact with others.

"Brits love their music but, as our research found, can be wary about professing exactly which songs get them going to their friends.

"In a world where we are increasingly sharing our inner thoughts and deepest emotions online, it makes sense that we should also share the music we love."
