A HOST of community fundraising events have been taking place in Droitwich.
Droitwich Spa Community Choir raised more than £300 for the Droitwich Challengers Gateway Club, a group which supports adults with learning disabilities.
Members of the choir raised £150 through various raffles and a further £203 at St Richard's Boat and Car Festival.
Meanwhile, the Challengers held a fun day at the Pillar of Salt pub and collected a whopping £363 for Acorns Children's Hospice.
Charlotte Andrews, of the Droitwich Challengers, said: "I think that it is really great that we have local community groups working together to support each other and this should be told to other people so that they realise some good happens every now and then."
