THERE was no noticeable rise in disorder in Worcestershire after England was knocked out of Euro 2016 last night.
England suffered humiliation at the hands of Iceland who delivered a 2 - 1 defeat in Nice, France.
As well as the exit from the tournament, manager Roy Hodgson also resigned.
Despite the obvious upset and anger for fans, West Mercia Police said the disappointing result did not cause any increase in football-related crime.
Superintendent Kevin Purcell said they officers been monitoring and did not see a noticeable impact on disorder or violence anywhere across Worcestershire as a result of the football.
Iceland will now go on to face host nation France at the Stade de France on Sunday, July 3.
