MEMBERS of the Droitwich Challengers Gateway Club enjoyed a trio of evening canal trips aboard the Pamela May narrowboat.

The club, which is for adults with learning disabilities, was able to cruise the waterways thanks to sponsorship from Droitwich Rotary Club, which funded two of the trips.

The Pamela May is run by the Droitwich Waterways Trust Limited, a charity which runs trips for members of the community and promotes the preservation of the Droitwich Canal.

The challengers club meets once a week on a Wednesday at the Amphlett House Church Centre in Worcester Road.
