A 21-year-old man chased after a robber who stole cash from him in the city centre.

The incident happened in Crown Passage - which links Angel Street and Broad Street – at around 1.30pm, on Friday, April 21.

The victim was speaking with two men outside McDonald’s before one of them followed him and asked to change some money.

The offender then took the cash out of the victim’s hand and made off towards Broad Street and was last seen near the Rings and Needles tattoo shop.

The victim's white wallet, which has $100 signs on it, was also taken after he dropped it while chasing the robber.

The first suspect is described as a black man, who was wearing a black coat and a black bag with a Rastafarian flag design on the straps, who is approximately six foot tall with a thin build.

The second suspect is described as a white man in his mid-20s, who has blonde hair, a thin build, and was wearing a grey tracksuit and a grey Nike baseball cap with a white tick on it.
